The mission of the Dignity Project is to collect and donate feminine hygiene products to women and girls in need in Oconee County, South Carolina.

There are girls and women missing school, work, completing errands, and participating in social activities due to menstrual hygiene product insecurity, and our goal is to help alleviate this roadblock for these individuals.  We are seeking individuals, groups, and organizations to partner with us by making product or monetary donations.  The most-needed products are regular and overnight napkins and regular and super tampons.

Monetary donation

On the second Saturday of each month, Oconee Democrats as part of their Democrats Care project do our part for the community by participating in a KOBA trash pick-up. Meet at the Food Lion on Old Clemson Highway at 9 am, where we'll provide safety vests, bags, and pick-up tools. Please dress appropriately for walking on the roadside. Bring your own gloves. Call Gary Gaulin (864-247-8208) for more information.

Note: Pick up does not occur in June, July, or August.
